NOTICE – NO FISHING in 2025
Typically, every year during March and April, Lions Lake is stocked as part of the Stocked Trout Waters Program through the PA Fish and Boat Commission. Due to the shoreline restoration project set to begin this February, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has decided NOT to restock the lake in 2025.
The goal is to protect the lake’s ecosystem and wildlife native to the lake during construction phases. Therefore, there will be NO FISHING permitted at Lions Lake in 2025. Restocking of the lake is set to resume in the Spring of 2026 and fishing will again be permitted.
